The Market

Since 2019, Meisner’s Heritage Farm has been redefining the farm stand experience in Hudson. Discover our seasonal produce that is locally sourced and always priced fairly.

Cheese & Dairy

We’ve gathered the Hudson Valley’s finest dairy delights—no fuss, just flavor. Start with a lush, Camembert-style round from Churchtown Dairy, its rind whispering of wildflowers and cream. Their tangy farmer’s cheese brings a rustic counterpoint, bright and alive. From Ronnybrook Farm, impossibly rich European-style butter and velvety yogurt that tastes like something from another era. Golden Age Cheese delivers the hits—Swiss, Gouda, Cheddar—each one familiar, yet somehow better. And our neighbors at Cabot Creamery, their Greek yogurt and whipped cream are silky, cloudlike, and dangerously easy to eat by the spoonful. For those who walk the plant-based path, we haven’t forgotten you. Silk and OATLY stand ready.

Meat & Seafood

While our hearts are in the fields, we hold deep admiration for the local farmers who raise and harvest with the same passion for quality. That’s why our freezers hold grass-fed beef and carefully cured pork from Hilltown Country Smokehouse, Hilltown Pork and Hunter’s Reserve just north of town. And when it comes to fish, we turn to Hudson Valley Fisheries. Their steelhead trout is delicious with zero hormones and antibiotics. Just responsibly raised, great-tasting fish you can feel good about eating.

Prepared Foods

Fast food, the way it ought to be. When the week gets busy or company drops by, reach for a savory pot pie or quiche from Pika’s Farm Table. They're flaky, comforting, and ready in a flash, whether you’re feeding one or a crowd. Our kitchen also turns out a rotating selection of house-made favorites. Think bubbling lasagna, rustic pizzas and hearty shepherd’s pies–meals that feel like home.

Something Sweet

Who doesn’t crave a little something sweet now and then? Our on-site bakery fills the air with the scent of just-baked pies, tender scones, buttery cookies, and, if you time it right, our famous cider donuts. For something cool and indulgent, try a scoop of craft ice cream from Gifford's, a fifth-generation family creamery where tradition runs deep. Or go all in with an ice cream sandwich from Nightingale, a woman-led, veteran-owned outfit churning out flavors like Cookie Curveball, Strawberry Shortcake, and Banana Pudding that taste like summer and childhood and joy, all in one bite.

Coffee Bar

We proudly pour coffee from J.B. Peel, the beloved small-batch roaster just down the road in Red Hook, NY. William and Alexandria Jamieson source the finest beans from around the world, roasting them with care to coax out every nuance of flavor. Together, we created something special: our exclusive MHF blend—an organic French roast with beans from Colombia, Guatemala, and Mexico. It’s deep and toasty, with quiet hints of almond, pine nut, and a smooth, chocolatey finish that lingers just long enough. Sip it here or take home a one-pound bag for mornings that deserve something better.

Honey & Maple Syrup

There’s something elemental about good honey—golden, fragrant, and alive with the flavors of nature. We’re offering small-batch jars from S&T Hudson Valley Apiary in Claverack, where every drop reflects the rhythm of the seasons. For those who crave the old-fashioned pleasure of natural cut combs, experience the delights from Rulison Honey Farm, where four generations have tended their bees with care, bottling each harvest by hand. And if maple syrup speaks to your sweet side, don’t miss the organic variety from Maple Leaf Sugaring in Ghent. Ben and Veronica Madey tap their trees the traditional way, crafting syrup that tastes like crisp mornings and woodsmoke for a product that is pure, simple, and deeply satisfying.

MHF Condiments

With some of the finest fruit and vegetables in the country growing right here in our region, we're thrilled to share our own Meisner’s Heritage Farm pantry goods. They're made just down the road, in small batches, with ingredients we know and trust. The jams, jellies, marmalades, chutneys, and fruit butters sing with bright flavor, with each jar a little echo of the season it came from. On the savory side, you’ll find tangy relishes, bold mustards, zippy salsas, smoky hot sauces, and salad dressings that turn a simple bowl of greens into something memorable. These are the kinds of condiments that don’t just sit on the shelf—they become part of the meal.

Thoughtful Gifts

We’ve assembled a thoughtful collection of locally made treasures at The Market. They're the kind of finds that make perfect gifts or bring a little beauty into everyday life. You’ll find natural beeswax candles made with intention by the remarkable community at Camphill Village (learn more about their story here). Our friend Gail P. Riccobono makes our greeting cards by hand, each one its own small work of art. And for something soothing, try the goat milk soaps from Cats' View Farm. Each bar is creamy, gentle, and scented like a walk through the countryside.

While you’re browsing, don’t miss our 100% cotton net bags. Woven in Red Hook and inspired by the classic French market tote, they’re endlessly useful, whether you’re heading to the farm stand or the beach. And for little ones, we love the washable, animal-shaped backpacks that are practical, playful, and ready for any adventure.
